Autumn Bertels

I chose to do research with the Hartley Lab because it is the most similar to my ultimate research dream: ethical stem cell research for spinal cord injury patients.

I founded and am currently president of AbilityKU, a student organization that promotes accessibility on campus for those with disabilities. Through the organization, I also work with different DEI departments.

Fun Fact: I am obsessed with all Animal Crossing games.
